Romantic Estate Wedding Editorial

In the midst of summer, we put together an editorial at the new venue The Estate on Second. I wanted to work with light and lots of greenery for this particular editorial. And our French garden inspired shoot at an estate-like venue was the perfect landscape to bring our vision to life.

We were so fortunate to work with some of industry's top vendors. Adrienne Gunde did a beautiful job in capturing our work. And we had the honor of having it featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs! Enjoy!

California Coastal Shoot

It's been months since we put this photo shoot together back in February with an amazing team of vendors, but luckily I got to relive it today. If you missed it on Style Me Pretty, take a peak at the gorgeous pictures Carol Ly shot in film.

Our inspiration came from the cool colors of the sea and the rocks that are scattered throughout the beach of El Matador in Malibu. Our models: Sydney and my good friend, Jourdan, were such troopers bearing the cold waters during the tail end of winter. Behind the scenes, our vendor team members were definitely working it as we had to bring the pieces up and down the cliffside- no easy task! The day was absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with the results.

Since then, I am genuinely happy to see that others have found inspiration from this shoot. And I hope you will enjoy it today!

Carissa and Stu gets married!

When my good friend, Carissa, asked us to be her floral designers for her wedding, I was so excited. Carissa has been a good friend of mine since college and she played a huge part in helping me start Chloe+Mint.

Carissa and Stu are such amazing individuals but even better as a couple. To be honest, we were kind of nervous doing her flowers. We wanted them to love what we created- and thankfully, they did!

Since a lot of their decor were bright colors, we wanted to go with softer tones for her flowers. For the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids' bouquets, we combined garden roses with Juliette roses and ranunculus. And for the men, we went with spray roses with accents of foliage. The centerpieces' main star were the pink dahlias mixed with hydrangeas, roses and ranunculus. Everything tied in together so nicely, we couldn't have been happier!

After setting up, I was able to join Carissa and Stu as a guest and seriously had the time of my life. Congratulations again, Sturissa, we truly wish you a happily ever after!

Amalfi Coast Inspired Photo Shoot

I can't believe it's been almost three months since I've blogged- sorry about that! We've been that crazy busy. As promised, here are the highlights from the photo shoot we did with our real life couple, Jessica and Jordan.

Our Inspiration: We almost forgot it was the middle of winter. The field of yellow seed plants fading into the sea and the sky at the Abalone Cove in Palos Verdes, California, was the perfect location for us to bring out our vision of an Amalfi Coastline. The blush tones went beautifully with the pastel background tones of the nature that surrounded us. I wanted our photoshoot to have an ethereal feel, which Sally did an amazing job bringing to life. And I am a huge fan of floral designs so we picked an invitation that reflected the coming spring weddings and our real-life flower arrangements. The pieces we incorporated for our table arrangement involved vintage and romantic elements. The table was then tied in with a gorgeous cake with plum grass adorned around it. The dress I picked out for the reception was a romantic dress with beaded and laced sleeves. The dress for the ceremony was a more formal dress that I felt was appropriate with the veil and setting. Our photo shoot is the perfect inspiration for the many spring weddings to come.
